Over his career, he has held key leadership roles, including Assistant Director of Athletics at Yale University, Director of Athletics at Madison Public Schools, Mitchell College, Oxford High School, Westbrook Public Schools, and Derby Public Schools, where he implemented transformative programs and earned multiple state and national recognitions.
His visionary leadership has propelled student-athlete engagement, pioneered sportsmanship initiatives, and guided institutions through significant transitions, including Mitchell College’s move to NCAA Division III.
A recognized advocate for mental fitness, leadership mindset, and high-performance strategies, Teg now dedicates his expertise to coaching and mentoring through The Mental Game Academy. Holding advanced degrees in Sport Management, Counseling, and Educational Leadership, along with his Certified Master Athletic Administrator designation, he continues to inspire excellence in student-athletes, coaches, and educational leaders nationwide.
