What We Stand For...

At the core of the Mental Game Academy is a belief in holistic athlete development. We don’t just focus on athletic performance; we address the broader spectrum of mental, emotional, and social growth needed to thrive in today’s competitive world. Our programs are designed to help athletes:

Conquer Phone Dependency: Understand how screen time impacts the brain and performance while building healthier routines.

Build Mental Resilience: Develop the focus, emotional intelligence, and mindset needed to handle pressure and adversity like a champion.

Master Communication & Leadership: Hone the skills that set athletes apart, on and off the field, opening doors to scholarships and leadership roles.

Redefine Priorities: Shift time and energy into meaningful habits that fuel peak performance and personal growth.

Meet our Coaches

Dr. Kevin Willis

Kevin Willis, PhD, is a sports psychologist who helps athletes, coaches, parents, organizations and business leaders perform under pressure. His work centers on purpose, awareness, and mindset, the three levers that drive real, lasting improvement in competition. He translates that same psychology into the business world, helping entrepreneurs and executives build resilience and get more done with less friction. Kevin also tracks how digital habits and social media are reshaping attention and confidence in today's competitors, and builds that reality into the strategies he teaches. He pairs psychological research with practical, usable tools, so audiences leave with something they can apply the next day, not just something to think about. Catch him on NHL Radio - Sirius XM
